A Guide to Post-Secondary Resources for
Students with Disabilities

N.E.X.T.TM (New Endeavors for eXceptional Transitions) is an innovative, two-component approach to connect students with disabilities in Katy, Texas to Houston-area and/or Texas-area resources and opportunities available to them upon graduation from high school. The goal is to close the communication gap between students with disabilities and the resources that will help them achieve their maximum potential in post-secondary life.

The transition from high school life to post-secondary life for students with disabilities is often one of
significant change. N.E.X.T.
TM seeks to ease this transition and provide the most beneficial, accurate, and
easy to access tools and resources to students, their families and their teachers.

This website is the first component of the N.E.X.T.
TM approach.

The second component of N.E.X.T.
TM is the N.E.X.T.TM  Resource Guide, a booklet encompassing the same
opportunities and resources found here.

While it is the goal of N.E.X.T. to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on resources and opportunities for students with disabilities,
all data included in this website database and in the resource guide is based on what was available at the time of printing and may be subject to change.
